Single Axis Tracking System
We have developed two types of Single Axis - Solar Tracking system.
- Vertical Tilting
- Horizontal Tracking with Seasonal Tilting
In Single Axis Tracking, we track the sun, from east to west. This normally happens in Vertical Tilting. On an average per year we assure the maximum extra yield from tracking than fixed type is 25%
Vertical Tilting - Single Axis Tracking System
But in second type, that is horizontal tracking with seasonal tilt, it acts like almost a Dual Axis Tracking System. Otherwise, we call it as a Semi-Dual Axis Tracking. In this model daily change in movement of sun from east to west is being tracked and seasonal change of sun from North to South also being tracked. This is one of the most efficient model in the world, which accounts for almost 30% extra power yield than a fixed type system. And this is a location independent model, suits across the world.
Dual Axis Tracking System
Dual Axis, the name itself replicates that, the tracker tracks the sun from East to West and North to South. The main objective of this type of tracking is to concentrate the center of the sun throughout the day. So that, when we focus the sun the focal length would be maintained exactly on the cell.
Here, we mainly talk about Concentrated Photo Voltaic (CPV). CPV Cells are made of Triple Junction Solar Cells, which has to be focused under the sun using lens or dish. As a consequence, almost 40% extra yield is generated than a fixed type solar cells.
